TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
BY PLACING AN ORDER WE SHALL DEEM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Please take a few moments to read our terms and conditions.
1.
Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation
e-mail stating the details of your order and the amount
charged to your credit card, PayPal account or to be sent
by one of the other methods chosen by you. Only payment
in GBP is accepted.
2. We endeavour to process all orders within 3 working days.
3. Postage and Insurance.
Orders will be dispatched by Royal Mail or Parcel Force
and our liability ceases once your order/parcel has been
delivered to our carrier.
U.K. Orders will be insured to the full replacement value.
Europe. This includes orders to: - Republic of Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Orders up to 2KG in weight will be insured up to the value of £GBP27. Orders over 2Kg in weight will be insured for the full replacement value up to £GBP150. Orders will be sent by AirMail.
U.S.A. and Canada. Please note that parcels under 2Kg in weight sent to North America and Canada will not be insured. Large orders over 2Kg in weight, sent by Parcel Force, will be insured for the full replacement value up to £GBP150. Orders will be sent by AirMail.
Rest of the World. Orders up to 2Kg in weight will be insured up to the value of £GBP27. Orders over 2Kg in weight will be insured for the full replacement value up to £GBP150.
PLEASE NOTE: Should a parcel go missing we can only refund up to the Royal Mail/Parcel Force standard compensation limits of up to GBP27 for small parcels and up to GBP150 for parcels over 2Kg. Any claims for non-arrival must be notified via e-mail within 21 days of the date of our e-mail confirmation of your order. Should a claim arise we will refund you as soon as the carrier has reimbursed us.
4. All our goods are of a high quality and supplied in good faith with no warranty expressed or implied. We never knowingly misrepresent an item, and you have to bear in mind that most items are pre-owned and therefore not 100% perfect. Any imperfections, that we can reasonably be expected to see, will be noted in the description. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items supplied are examined by the customer on receipt, before use, and used safely and with adult supervision where appropriate.
5. Orders are processed on a first come first served basis. We will use our best endeavours to ensure that the products shown as available on the website are in stock. Please note that any item shown in our product list is a single item only, unless otherwise stated. If we have already sold an item we would give you the opportunity to either cancel your order and refund any monies paid,or offer you a suitable alternative.

Returns. If you wish to return an item please inform
us via e-mail within 24 hours of receiving your order. We
will need to know the reason for return. Please dispatch
the items within 8 days of receipt of your order and obtain
a dated certificate of posting. All returns will be subject
to a Returns Fee, (as detailed below), at our discretion.
The items must be returned, unworn, unwashed, and unmarked.
It is the customer's responsibility to insure the returns
(as necessary) and to make sure the garment/s reach us safely.
It is the customer's responsibility to pay for the cost
of the return. If the items are returned to us in the time
scale stipulated and in the same condition as they were
originally sent, a full refund will be issued without delay.
If any item is returned with marks, smells, faults of any
kind other than those mentioned in the garment description
then no refund would be made.
If the order was originally from outside of the UK and Europe please take care to fill in the returns details correctly. Goods to the UK may incur duty charges if you fail to make it clear that the package is a 'return' to the UK and not an import. In the event of the documentation being completed incorrectly and tax or duty subsequently being charged to HipKid.co.uk, the sum involved will be deducted from your final refund.
7. Returns Fees.
Goods dispatched within 8-14 days will incur a 20% handling charge.(minimum charge GBP5)
Goods dispatched within 15-21 days will incur a 50% handling charge.(minimum charge GBP5)
Goods dispatched later than 21 days will NOT be refunded.
If the customer neither advises us of an intention to return goods, nor returns goods within the stipulated 21 day period, then HipKid.co.uk deem the customer to have accepted the goods supplied to be in a safe and satisfactory condition.
8. Faulty goods.
Our products very rarely have defects that we have missed.
We will refund faulty goods if they are returned to us within
7 days of receipt.
9. Cancellation rights.
Customers have the legal right to a cooling off period of
eight days from receipt of the goods, during which time
an order may be cancelled and a full refund received. It
is, however, your responsibility to pay for the cost of
returning the goods. If you do not do so a deduction will
be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting
the goods. We will issue a refund within 30days of cancellation.
10. Complaints.
Should you have any cause for complaints please e-mail us
at eva@hipkid.co.uk. We will endeavour to respond within
five working days.
The above terms and conditions are not intended to affect or jeopardise your statutory rights.
